THE BAM PROGRAM

IT’s not magic. it’s a mindset.

BAM Basketball & Mentorship is a Los Angeles based non-profit 501c3, providing high level basketball training as a tool to inspire and empower young individuals through skills training and life mentorship. We strive to nurture, appreciate, and cultivate self-confidence by instilling winning mentalities, and developing high-quality citizens. Through this supportive environment and expert guidance, we aim to develop future leaders who embrace challenges, excel in their endeavors, and inspire others to reach their full potential—on and off the court.

BAM’S STORY

Growing up with limited resources and a single parent, I found solace and opportunity on the basketball court, where hard work and dedication could lead to success. I developed both on and off the court through the principles of teamwork, resilience, and discipline, which became the foundation for my personal and professional growth.

Basketball not only built my character but revealed it, shaping my path forward.

This experience inspired me to create the BAM Basketball & Mentorship, a program designed to empower youth by combining sports with important life lessons to offer opportunities for growth and self-discovery, just as basketball did for me.

BAM COACHES

COACH ADIB SALIM

A husband and proud father of three amazing children. As a first-generation American with roots in Djibouti and Ethiopia, Adib cherishes his cultural heritage and the strong family values it has instilled in him.

COACH Zach Greenberg

Zach has always had a passion for empowering young people, having spent his college summers as a camp counselor coaching basketball. Zach lives in Brentwood with his girlfriend and their basset hound (he's a stretch 4).

COACH DREW WALKER

Drew is a sales professional with a passion for creativity and mentorship. He thrives in the tech industry by day and spends his free time playing basketball, pursuing film photography, and mentoring kids, balancing his career with a commitment to making a positive impact.

COACH Eben Cooper

Born and raised in New York City, Eben developed a love for the self-expression and competitive nature of basketball at a young age. When not on the court, Eben is exercising at Gold’s Gym, running with his dog on Venice Beach, surfing, or taking yoga with his fiancée.

COACH KANE ROBINSON

COACH Kane Robinson

Born and raised in Inglewood CA., Kane is a lifelong basketball junkie and has been playing since he could walk. He's a skills specialist with a key focus on lockdown defense, ball handling and footwork. Kane is always looking for ways to improve his game and help the team win.
